Dancer Feet
See these feet? They are tired dancer feet. They belong to my dancing daughter Tessa. They have been at a rehearsal all morning and are going back there for more dancing this evening. Then, this weekend they are going to dance thru 5 performances....2 on Friday 3 on Saturday. These dancer feet are stealing a little nap right now in preparation for the fun and busy weekend ahead. I am proud of these dancer feet and the dancer they belong to!

Sleeping Crouchouse
It's 11pm and I am the only awake person in a sleeping house. I have 2 dogs and a husband sacked out in my bed with me and another very fat and old dog snoring in a chair in the corner of our bedroom. Tessa is fast asleep because she has to be at pom practice in 6 hours ( me too by the way because I am the transportation...) and Heeder keeps texting me trying to negotiate a 1230 am curfew instead of the standard, never will change even if you beg midnight curfew. Kenny and I successfully raised 2 daughters so far on the midnight curfew and we believe it was a secret to our success......after all, nothing good happens after midnight.....so too bad Heederman......auto text will never change....be home by midnight!

Crouchouse is more of a feeling and not so much the house....
When I started this blog months ago I didn't realize that the Crouchouse today would be different from the one in this picture a little over a year later. This reminds me of a lesson I taught to my kids each time we moved over the course of the 26 years Kenny and I have been married. Each time the moving van loaded the last of all our earthly belongings and drove away Kenny and I gathered our children around us and said, "The most important thing in our lives is what, or who, is standing standing right here. Nothing that just drove away in that moving van is important, the house structure we just left or the one we are moving to is not important. What is important is our family and being together eternally. ". So I'm not going to post a picture of our new house unless somebody really important is standing in front of it because the Crouchouse is more of a feeling and not so much the house....
